Specialties at TCR
We are a multi-specialty therapy practice. Clients are matched with therapists based on their specific concerns and each clinician’s area of expertise, allowing for more focused and effective care.
We provide specialized treatment for OCD and a range of anxiety concerns, including panic, social anxiety, phobias, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) such as hair pulling and skin picking. Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reduce avoidance, increase tolerance for uncertainty, and improve daily functioning.
We provide specialized treatment for trauma and PTSD, including childhood trauma, relational trauma, and acute stress responses. Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), along with other research-supported interventions to help clients process traumatic experiences.
We provide support for neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, including those with ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges. Our clinicians focus on building practical skills, improving organization and follow-through, and reducing distress related to attention, sensory, and social differences. Treatment is individualized and may include evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with an emphasis on increasing flexibility, self-understanding, and effective functioning in daily life.
We provide therapy for couples and individuals navigating relationship concerns, communication difficulties, and identity development. Our clinicians work with both traditional and non-traditional relationships, including LGBTQ+ and ethically non-monogamous (ENM) partnerships. Treatment may include evidence-based approaches such as the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), with a focus on improving connection, addressing betrayal trauma, strengthening communication, and supporting healthier, more secure relationships.
We provide therapy for children and adolescents with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, and identity or adjustment-related difficulties. Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based interventions tailored to younger populations, such as Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). Treatment is developmentally appropriate and often involves caregiver collaboration, with a focus on improving emotional regulation, reducing symptoms, and strengthening family support.
